20:24 12 FEB 2012    (AGI) Athens - At least 100,000 people have taken to the streets in Athens to protest against the 3,3 billion euro austerity package that will be voted on by the Greek Parliament at 11pm. The release of a 130 billion euro bailout for Greece is conditional to the approval of the package. The riot police reportedly used tear gas and baton charges against black bloc anarchists who were seen throwing petrol bombs and paper bombs.
